The Cliché of Mariah Carey’s Christmas-esque Content
The album dropped in 1994. You're still all Mariah wanted. Year-end content can also get loopy. Instead of a different shade of boring, we could do boring differently.
Every year, Sinatra tells me that the weather outside is frightful and that the fire is delightful while families gather around the TV set to watch John McClane kill German terrorists. Again.

Another familiarity heralds the arrival of the holiday season. It's not only the high notes of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas" that I refer to; it's the predictive carol of end-of-year content that pervades every conceivable platform.
I want to tickle your tinsel to create different content.
Like Mariah Carey's quintessential holiday anthem, content during the festive period has become a repetitive encore. Whether it's the ubiquitous "Holiday Gift Guides” or the "Top Trends for the Upcoming Year", the repetitiveness is as comforting and bland as a reheated mug of eggnog.
But let me be the first to say that there’s absolutely nothing wrong with the format of same-sy festive content.
